Jambo Moyo was an exceptional artist. Born in 1957, he was a senior artist in the Shona art industry. Unfortunately, he passed away in April 2021 after a short illness. He had an uncanny ability to capture the spirit of the animals he sculpted. His hands created movement and vivid life into his carvings of African wildlife while working in the beautiful savannah marble stone. Before his passing, he was inspired to attempt abstract pieces. He rapidly developed his talent in an exciting new direction. This led to an incredible fusion that resulted in living abstracts.
