Luke is the Founder and Director of both African Angel Art and African Angel Tours registered both in the USA and South Africa.

A charismatic and a colorful people person, Luke is an experienced Director with a history of exporting African Art to the USA and subsequently expanding into the travel & tourism industry on the African continent. Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree focused on the Arts, Political Science, and International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Luke and his team have dedicated their lives to dismantling racial myths, borders, and fears: believing and actively gearing all their business operations to the philosophy that cultural exchanges are the best way to build relations across the social, economic, and political divides.

With over 30 years’ experience in the promotion and marketing of both African cultural products and African tour packages to international audiences, Luke began marketing South Africa in the early 1990’s, presenting pan-African arts and craft products in gift and trade shows in Germany, France, and Italy. Since 1996, Luke has focused on the United States market promoting African arts and crafts building up an extensive business network and client base in California, especially within the African American community.

African Angel Art believes that Black economic empowerment and the support of small and medium business, should be the core focus of their endeavors to grow the export of original African Artwork. Luke’s broad international client base together with his extensive African networks, has facilitated community development, craft production and tourism on the African continent, dealing directly with the artists, building solid relationships over the last three decades.

African Angel Art and African Angel Tours have an intimate knowledge of the high expectations of international consumers. Luke and his team have developed an exciting new generation of South African cultural entrepreneurs looking to support grass root suppliers.


Andiswa represents a new wave of South African cultural entrepreneurs, building a new post-apartheid South Africa. She is qualified in Tourism Management with a National Diploma from Cape Technikon and a BTech from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and has wealth of experience in customer relations within the Tourism and Cultural industry.

Andiswa is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the provision of services to clients, including managing relations with industry stakeholders and suppliers. She oversees the company's promotion through expos, trade shows and artist visits.

Zandile is an intrinsic part of the company and has been the driving force behind the new “Mega” online store Her diligence and accurate research of all African Tribes and artwork on the continent has proved to be the backbone of the new online platform. Thanks to Zandile you can shop by tribe and country on the website.

She has been working in tourism for 13 years and has incredible experience and knowledge of travel in Africa, covering all aspects of tourism. She is a single mum and highly effective in managing her profession together with raising her beautiful daughter.
